Clackmannanshire District Scouts prepare young people with skills for life in and around Alloa, Alva, Clackmannan, Dollar, Kincardine, Menstrie, Sauchie, Tullibody and Tillicoultry.
We are currently looking for a Treasurer to join our Trustee Board. Trustees play a key part in Scouts and keep an eye on our vision. They make sure young people have the best experience at Scouts, and check things are being done safely and legally.
What would you do as a Treasurer?
As a Treasurer you will do lots of different things.
- Look after finances, such as making sure Groups / Districts / Counties are collecting all membership fees and making all payments.
- Share details about income and spend with other Trustees.
- Make sure Gift Aid is being claimed.
- Make sure proper accounts are kept and draw up policies on finance and investment.
Who are we looking for?
The Scout Association is a inclusive organisation, so we would welcome anyone from all different backgrounds, experiences and generations. You can have been involved with Scouts before or be completely new to the organisation.
